Key responsibilities
- Adapt approved curricula into online lessons, storyboards, interactive activities, assignments and assessments, and prepare and review videos, quizzes, job aids and digital resources.
- Support Moodle or approved Ministry platforms: course configuration, SCORM packaging and testing, enrollment, permissions, assessment rules, completion tracking, and checking Arabic display, mobile usability, accessibility and performance.
- Support virtual and blended courses through scheduling, session setup, learner orientation, digital assignments, facilitator resources, bilingual guidance and troubleshooting.
- Work with MoEHRD teams, QRTA, content partners, MEL and IREX colleagues, review partner assets against specifications, maintain issue and decision logs, and recommend improvements.
- Support pilots of digital and AI-enabled teacher-learning tools, including usability testing, safe-use guidance and human review of AI-generated content, and maintain approvals, version control and handover records.
Required profile
- At least three years of experience in e-learning, instructional design, digital learning operations, online course production, educational technology or blended professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Education, Digital Media, Information Technology, Computer Science or a closely related field; relevant professional certification is an advantage.
- Fluency in Arabic and professional working proficiency in English.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in Jordan; the position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
- Experience in teacher professional development or donor-funded education programs is an advantage.
Required skills
- Hands-on experience developing, configuring, maintaining or reviewing LMS courses, quizzes, interactive activities and multimedia resources.
- Working knowledge of Moodle, SCORM packages, assessment settings, learner roles, completion tracking and course testing.
- Experience with at least one authoring tool such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, H5P or Adobe Captivate; PowerPoint and multimedia editing skills are desirable.
- Understanding of adult learning, accessible and inclusive design, mobile-friendly experiences and low-bandwidth environments.
