Events Executive – On‑site Event Management

About the role

The Events Executive will oversee all on‑site details for group events at our Marriott property on Dead Sea Road, Sweimeh. You will act as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and follow detailed checklists and itineraries for each event.
• Coordinate room layouts, set‑up requirements, and special requests.
• Enter, update, and retrieve reservation data using internal computer systems.
• Transmit documents via email, fax, or mail and operate standard office equipment.
• Prepare weekly departmental payroll paperwork.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching.
• Enforce company safety, security, and appearance standards.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and maintain professional communication.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related event‑management experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb.
