Food and Beverage Supervisor

The Food and Beverage Supervisor ensures smooth operation of the dining areas, leading the team to deliver high-quality service to guests. This full-time position at a Westin hotel in Aqaba involves overseeing staff, maintaining standards, and supporting the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff to provide optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall appearance, correcting deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Maintain storage areas using FIFO, ensure cleanliness, and conduct inventories.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
• Enforce company safety, security, and uniform policies; report incidents and complete safety training.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
