Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures that the dining experience meets The Ritz‑Carlton’s Gold Standards. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional service, maintain operational excellence, and uphold safety and quality standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff to provide optimal guest service, including grooming, attire, and performance checks.
• Perform opening and closing duties, set up supplies, clean equipment, secure the venue, and complete work orders for maintenance.
• Manage inventory, conduct scheduled stock counts, and requisition supplies while ensuring FIFO storage practices.
• Monitor dining areas for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being, and address any service issues promptly.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee coaching.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Food & Beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and navigating confined spaces.
