Full Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor of Finance

About the role

The School of Business at American International University (AIU) in Kuwait seeks a full‑time faculty member in Finance. The appointment may be at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will teach finance and a related business discipline while contributing to research and service.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate courses in Finance and at least one related area such as Accounting or Business Analytics.
• Integrate emerging technologies, including AI‑assisted tools and interactive platforms, into teaching.
• Develop and update curriculum to meet industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Supervise senior projects, assess student performance, and provide academic advising.
• Maintain an active research agenda, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and present at conferences.
• Participate in departmental, school, and university committees, accreditation activities, and community outreach.

Required profile

• PhD in Business Administration, Finance, Business Analytics or a closely related field.
• Minimum five years of university‑level teaching experience for Associate and Full Professor ranks.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a record of scholarly or professional contributions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Experience working in multicultural academic environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑standard finance software such as Bloomberg.
• Experience applying artificial‑intelligence tools in education or research (preferred).
