About the role
The Norwegian Refugee Council is seeking a Grants Manager for its Human Mobility Hub in Amman. The role provides strategic leadership and oversight of grants management, ensuring donor compliance, high‑quality proposal development, and robust reporting while supporting resource mobilisation and partner capacity building.
Key responsibilities
- Lead grants and compliance management, aligning with NRC policies, donor regulations and audit requirements.
- Coordinate the development of concept notes, proposals and donor reports, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Oversee partnership and contract management, including due‑diligence, assessments and implementation of partnership systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to staff and partners on grants management, donor compliance and proposal/report writing.
- Support fundraising strategy, identify new funding opportunities and represent NRC in donor and coordination forums.
Required profile
- Minimum five years of experience in donor relations and grants management within humanitarian or development contexts.
- Experience working in complex environments with displaced populations.
- Strong knowledge of institutional donor rules and compliance requirements (e.g., NMFA, Norad, SDC, ECHO, Dutch MFA).
- Proven ability to develop high‑quality reports and proposals.
