Hard Services Supervisor – Civil Maintenance

About the role

The Hard Services Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day civil and architectural maintenance activities across Arab Bank’s facilities, ensuring that all fit‑out, renovation and enhancement projects meet corporate standards and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil and architectural works, including fit‑out projects and renovations.
• Develop technical scopes, SOPs, work plans, schedules and implementation strategies.
• Oversee contractors, subcontractors and service providers to ensure compliance with scope, KPIs, quality, timelines and safety.
• Conduct regular building inspections, identify defects (leaks, cracks, finishing issues) and implement corrective actions.
• Plan, schedule and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for flooring, ceilings, painting, glass, waterproofing and insulation systems.
• Manage work orders, ensure timely completion and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Review engineering drawings, floor plans and specifications to guarantee proper execution.
• Perform quantity surveying, prepare Bills of Quantities and develop technical scopes for new projects and modifications.
• Provide cost estimates, budget forecasts and support tender evaluations.
• Support space‑management initiatives to optimise office utilisation.
• Train team members on best practices and safety procedures, and respond to emergency breakdowns.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher in maintenance or a related field.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in large facility‑management environments.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Proven ability to manage electromechanical coordination and service‑provider relationships.
