Head of Enterprise Risk

About the role

Equiti is seeking a Head of Enterprise Risk to lead enterprise risk management for its regulated entities in Jordan and the Seychelles, and to establish Jordan as the Group's regional risk hub.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of accountability for enterprise risk management across Jordan and SEY entities.
• Own and maintain the Risk Appetite Statement and ensure risk‑taking stays within Board‑approved tolerances.
• Build and operate a third‑party/vendor risk management framework.
• Lead operational resilience initiatives, including Business Continuity Planning and disaster recovery testing.
• Design and maintain a Group‑wide control framework and drive remediation of gaps.
• Embed a strong risk culture and partner with business heads for first‑line risk ownership.
• Manage the end‑to‑end risk incident process and produce senior‑management and Board risk reporting.
• Chair risk committees and lead Risk & Control Self‑Assessments.
• Support regulatory engagements, examinations and audits.
• Build and develop a risk team in Jordan as the hub grows.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise or operational risk management within financial services or regulated fintech.
• Proven track record designing and owning an enterprise risk management framework and Risk Appetite Statement.
• Hands‑on experience establishing third‑party risk programmes and operational resilience.
• Experience running risk committees and delivering Board‑level risk reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior business leaders.
• Relevant professional qualification in risk management, audit or related discipline is an advantage.
