Head of Enterprise Risk

About the role

Equiti, a fintech provider of multi-asset brokerage services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is looking for a Head of Enterprise Risk for its Amman office. You will lead enterprise risk management in the Jordan and Seychelles entities and turn Jordan into the Group's regional risk hub, covering third-party vendor management and operational resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of accountability for enterprise risk in Jordan and Seychelles and set up Jordan as the Group's regional risk hub.
• Ensure the Group's enterprise risk framework is understood and applied across all business lines and entities.
• Own the Jordan and Seychelles Risk Appetite Statement, keeping risk-taking within Board-approved limits and reviewing it as the business evolves.
• Drive third-party risk management: vendor and partner due diligence, ongoing monitoring and risk-based oversight of outsourcing relationships.
• Lead operational resilience, including Business Continuity Planning, disaster recovery and a testing programme.
• Design and own a Group-wide control framework, test controls and drive remediation.
• Build a risk culture with business heads, so risk ownership sits with the first line.
• Own risk incident management end-to-end, from logging and investigation to root cause analysis and closure.
• Deliver risk reporting for senior management and the Board, including KRIs, dashboards and thematic deep dives.
• Chair or support risk committees and run Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
• Partner with Compliance and the business on risk in new products and processes, and support regulatory engagement, examinations and audits.
• Build and lead a risk team in Jordan.

Required profile

• 10+ years in enterprise or operational risk management, ideally in financial services, brokerage or a regulated fintech environment.
• Proven experience designing and owning an enterprise risk framework and a Risk Appetite Statement.
• Experience building a third-party risk programme, operational resilience and control frameworks.
• Experience running risk committees and producing Board-level risk reporting.
• Experience building or scaling a risk function, ideally in a regional hub; experience across multiple regulated entities is highly desirable.
• A relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
