Human Resources Manager

About the role

An experienced HR Manager is sought to lead HR operations, compliance, employee relations, compensation and recruitment across the head office, warehouse and store teams. The role reports to the Director of Support Services and works closely with the People & Culture Manager on engagement, performance and talent development.

Key responsibilities

• Run HR operations end to end: contracts, personnel files, attendance and leave, payroll inputs, HRIS accuracy and statutory administration
• Own talent acquisition, from high-volume store hiring to senior roles, and track time-to-fill, quality of hire and early attrition
• Control headcount and manpower against approved plans and budgets
• Administer compensation and benefits, including grades and bands, compa-ratios, the annual salary review and market benchmarking
• Lead employee relations: disciplinary cases, investigations and grievances
• Maintain HR policies, governance, SLAs and compliance with Jordanian labour law
• Produce a monthly HR dashboard and turn the data into action
• Lead and coach the HR team, drive process improvement and automation, and deliver the performance cycle and annual training plan alongside People & Culture

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Law or a related field; a master's or SHRM/PHRi/CIPD certification is a plus
• 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years as HR Manager or Head of HR leading a team
• Multi-site experience in retail, distribution or FMCG with 150+ employees
• Fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Jordanian Labour Law, Social Security and Ministry of Labour requirements
• Strong HRIS and advanced Excel skills (HRIS/ERP implementation experience is a plus)
