Immunization Data Analyst Consultant (Remote, 6 months)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking two consultants to support data‑driven decision‑making for immunization programmes. The role focuses on analysing eJRF data, interpreting WUENIC estimates and providing actionable recommendations to reduce zero‑dose children.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to countries on eJRF data entry, validation and review.
• Conduct quality assurance and consistency checks of reported immunisation data.
• Develop analytical outputs such as country immunisation profiles, sub‑national analyses, zero‑dose and under‑immunised assessments, and coverage trend reports.
• Identify priority geographies and populations with high numbers of zero‑dose children and translate findings into programme recommendations.
• Contribute to advocacy materials, evidence‑based briefs and technical reviews of reports and presentations.
• Support global and regional coordination of immunisation data reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience with eJRF processes, WUENIC estimates and immunisation data analysis at country and regional levels.
• Experience working with UNICEF, WHO or similar organisations.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
• Experience in zero‑dose analysis and equity‑focused immunisation programming.
• Proficiency with statistical and data analysis packages such as EPIINFO, EPIDATA, SAS, STATA, SPSS, R, Statistica or Matlab.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
