International Supply Chain Internship

About the role

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is offering a short‑term, 8‑12 week International Supply Chain Internship at its Headquarters in Amman. Interns will gain hands‑on experience in a humanitarian environment, supporting the Supply Chain Department’s efforts to improve procurement, logistics, fleet, and administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with procurement activities, market research and data entry.
• Support logistics and inventory management tasks, including warehouse data analysis and performance reporting.
• Contribute to fleet management initiatives by gathering vehicle data and preparing sustainability reports.
• Help document and improve administrative SOPs and workflow processes.
• Participate in digital transformation projects and business‑process improvement assignments under supervision.

Required profile

• Current university student or recent graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in humanitarian work and the UN system.
• Ability to work independently and under guidance, with good analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
