IP Corporate Operations Engineer

About the role

The IP Corporate Operations Engineer will join Orange Jordan’s network team to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the corporate IP infrastructure. You will be responsible for rapid incident response, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement of network services.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to network incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor network performance, configure alerts, and prevent service disruptions.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute network changes following change‑management procedures.
• Maintain accurate network configurations and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Implement and manage firewall policies, access controls, VPN configurations, and load‑balancer settings.
• Analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, and optimise network speed and reliability.
• Create and keep comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and deploy new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Network Security Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of experience in network operations, focusing on IP data‑center and enterprise networking.
• Associate‑level certification from a recognised vendor (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Nokia NRS I, Fortinet NSE 4, Palo Alto PCCSA).
