IT Officer – End‑User Support & Infrastructure

About the role

The IT Officer will ensure the organization’s IT infrastructure, end‑user services, and business systems operate securely and efficiently. You will work closely with internal teams and external providers to deliver reliable IT support aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log, and resolve support tickets via the official helpdesk system, providing first‑line assistance for desktops, laptops, printers and standard applications.
• Prepare and configure new employee devices, install operating systems, software, antivirus and endpoint security, and maintain accurate asset records.
• Monitor and report on end‑user data backup status, perform data restoration under supervision, and ensure compliance with backup policies.
• Conduct daily security checks, monitor antivirus alerts and endpoint protection tools, and escalate incidents promptly.
• Assist users with enterprise applications such as email, SharePoint, HR and POS systems, handling access and permission issues.
• Support CCTV installation and maintenance, and assist with internal network, server and infrastructure monitoring across locations.
• Document procedures, maintain compliance records, and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving attitude with a focus on timely ticket resolution.
• Good organizational skills for asset and documentation management.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with senior IT staff.
