IT System Administrator

About the role

The IT System Administrator will design, implement, maintain and secure the organisation's on‑premises and cloud infrastructure. Based in our Amman office, the role ensures high availability, performance and security of all IT services that support business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server environments (2008 R2‑2022) including AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and file/print services.
• Manage HPE SimpliVity hyper‑converged infrastructure – health monitoring, storage/compute resources, backup and disaster recovery.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 tenant, Azure AD (Entra ID), Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint Online and Teams configuration and security.
• Handle patch management for servers and endpoints via RMM tools, ensuring compliance with vendor advisories.
• Configure and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, NAT and security policies.
• Administer Mikrotik switches, VLAN design, trunking and network segmentation.
• Perform regular system backups and test restoration procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Hands‑on knowledge of hyper‑converged infrastructure (HPE SimpliVity).
• Solid understanding of firewall (FortiGate) and switch (Mikrotik) administration.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents promptly.
