Legal Translation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Translation Specialist (Arabic ↔ English) to join Tarjame’s team of language professionals. You will work with law firms, government bodies, and corporate clients across Jordan and the MENA region, ensuring precise, consistent, and confidential translation of legal documents.

Key responsibilities

• Translate legal documents such as contracts, court judgments, corporate instruments, and regulatory filings between Arabic and English.
• Maintain and apply client‑specific terminology glossaries.
• Participate in a multi‑stage quality assurance process.
• Meet tight, court‑driven deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree in law, translation, linguistics, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in Arabic‑English legal translation.
• Strong command of legal terminology in at least two practice areas.
• Professional mindset with emphasis on confidentiality, accountability, and precision.
