Maintenance Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Lead to drive the elimination of breakdown losses and enhance team capability across our production lines. The role focuses on maintenance planning, scheduling, cost management and technical troubleshooting to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own breakdown elimination, maintenance planning, scheduling and cost management (DMS).
• Act as technical expert for troubleshooting and problem solving on production equipment.
• Support deployment of preventive and predictive maintenance systems and ensure compliance with PMI standards and OPEN+ requirements.
• Ensure compliance with environment, health, safety, sustainability and legal requirements, promoting a proactive safety culture.
• Participate in daily direction setting, define maintenance actions for planned downtime and support quality improvements, re‑application management and Kaizen initiatives.
• Coach teams on problem‑solving tools, maintain technical documentation and spare‑parts inventory.
• Contribute to annual maintenance planning, improve strategies and support defect handling activities.
• Monitor repair and maintenance costs, budgets and forecasts, and drive reductions in planned and unplanned downtime.
• Promote continuous improvement, validate Kaizen results and develop team capability in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Technical school qualification (secondary technical school or technical university).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic English proficiency and local language.
• Strong troubleshooting and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to train and coach others (train‑the‑trainer capability).
