Mathematics Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to deliver the SABIS® curriculum and support student achievement. The successful candidate will use SABIS teaching methods and the point system to create a productive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach mathematics classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain a conducive classroom atmosphere.
• Proctor exams and ensure proper test conditions.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Perform additional duties such as student testing, substitute teaching, lunch and bus organization, traffic control, and other administrative tasks.
• Participate in student life activities in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
