Odoo ERP Functional Expert

About the role

The Odoo ERP Functional Expert will join Hamilton Smart Technologies in Amman to lead the configuration and implementation of Odoo solutions for clients. You will translate business needs into functional designs, ensure smooth go‑live, and continuously improve workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements across finance, sales, inventory, manufacturing, HR and more.
• Configure Odoo Enterprise modules and map client processes to Odoo functionalities.
• Conduct system demonstrations, support implementation, perform testing and provide training to key stakeholders.
• Prepare functional documentation and coordinate with technical teams for customisations.
• Manage go‑live activities and deliver post‑implementation support.
• Continuously optimise Odoo workflows to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP implementation, delivering 3‑4 full‑cycle projects.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo Enterprise and multiple modules (Accounting, Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Projects, HR & Payroll).
• Solid understanding of core business processes and proven business‑analysis, process‑mapping and gap‑analysis skills.
• Good grasp of Odoo technical concepts (Models, Views, Actions, Automated Actions, Access Rights, Record Rules).
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem‑solving abilities; ability to work independently.
• Odoo certification is a plus.
