Paint & Detailing Department Manager

About the role

We are launching a new Paint & Detailing department and need an experienced manager to build and lead the team from the ground up. This senior position oversees daily operations, ensures quality standards, and coordinates with insurance partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Paint & Detailing department.
• Develop and implement workflows, SOPs, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for claims, estimates, and approvals.
• Oversee material procurement, inventory management, and insurance coverage.
• Lead, train, and supervise technicians and support staff.
• Handle customer inquiries and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Report performance metrics, costs, and productivity to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar automotive paint or detailing role.
• Proven track record managing a Paint and/or Detailing department.
• Strong experience working with insurance companies on claims and approvals.
• Excellent customer service and client‑handling abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management skills.
• Experience establishing departmental processes and quality standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
