People & Culture Manager

About the role

Fairmont Amman is seeking a People & Culture Manager to lead HR initiatives across its luxury resort. The role combines employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management and compliance to foster a positive workplace aligned with Fairmont and Accor values.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to managers and colleagues on HR policies, workplace matters and conflict resolution.
• Conduct investigations, manage disciplinary processes and maintain accurate documentation.
• Lead recruitment activities, from sourcing to onboarding, and monitor recruitment metrics.
• Support annual performance review cycles, coaching leaders and identifying development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and collective agreements.
• Prepare payroll documentation for audits, coordinate year‑end reporting and maintain earnings records.
• Maintain HRIS data, produce workforce reports and assist with leave administration.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance to HR coordinators, contribute to departmental budgeting and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years progressive HR experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury resort environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; professional HR designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices and conflict investigation.
• Excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal abilities with high integrity and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
