Procurement Associate – Finance Applications Support

About the role

PwC Middle East is hiring a Procurement Associate within Internal Firm Services (IFS), in its Finance line of service. The Finance Applications Support role focuses on improving the firm's finance systems and keeping them running smoothly across the finance function and wider business, while providing support to users and escalating critical issues quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Support the firm's finance systems and ensure they run smoothly across the finance function and wider business.
• Assist with system testing during upgrades and report issues.
• Ensure adequate support levels for users and resolve issues quickly with minimal disruption.
• Help with queries requiring SQL knowledge and extract standard reports from the database using SQL.
• Assist in enhancing internal documentation using VBA.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on finance system queries and issues.
• Contribute to ongoing activities and enhancement requests.
• Provide level 1-2 support to end users and work with colleagues in technology and transformation functions on critical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Science.
• 3+ years of overall experience in a systems support environment or as a system administrator.
• Previous experience with systems is mandatory.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic as a native language.
• Understanding of finance business processes and knowledge of the financial aspects of an ERP solution is preferred.

Required skills

• Technical skills in an ERP or finance system are preferred.
• Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, VBA, Excel) are a must.
• Strong analytical, consultative and communication skills.
