Product Manager - Construction Materials

About the role

DCP, a multi-national company with operations in over 20 countries and over 90 years of experience in the construction industry, is looking for a Product Manager. The role helps achieve a balanced and commercially viable product range while providing effective marketing support. It covers continuous product range assessment, R&D proposal creation, market and competitor analysis, and coordination of testing and development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the product portfolio using internal and external market data, and recommend improvements to keep the range balanced and commercially successful.
• Research and develop new product concepts with detailed cost proposals.
• Coordinate product development projects and manage approvals through established processes.
• Analyse markets, competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities.
• Initiate and oversee product testing and development requests with R&D, and track active R&D projects to ensure timely follow-up.
• Test and validate new or improved products in the laboratory and in the field, and coordinate field trials with applicators for practical feedback.
• Support the launch of new or enhanced products and communicate updates to operating companies.
• Share R&D achievements and product innovations with internal and external stakeholders, and prepare and present R&D newsletters and updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in product management or related roles.
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills, and excellent computer skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
