Public Partnerships Project Consultant – 12‑month contract in Amman

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Public Partnerships Project Consultant to support the MENARO region for a 12‑month assignment based in Amman. The consultant will work closely with the Public Partnerships Manager and the Migration and Displacement Programme Specialist to enhance UNICEF’s engagement with public donors.

Key responsibilities

• Support MENARO’s engagement with an assigned portfolio of key public donors.
• Develop donor positioning materials, funding pipelines and analytical products.
• Strategically leverage the PROSPECTS partnership and other flagship initiatives.
• Strengthen donor reporting coordination and quality assurance across the region.
• Identify funding opportunities and use evidence from PROSPECTS to inform regional engagement on children and youth on the move.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s) in International Relations, Political Science, International Development, Public Policy, Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in public partnerships, donor relations, resource mobilization, external relations, programme partnerships or donor intelligence.
