Route Planner / Vehicle Controller

About the role

EFS Facilities Services is seeking a Route Planner / Vehicle Controller to join its Command & Control Centre. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling vehicle routes to ensure efficient daily operations and compliance with service schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise daily vehicle routes in line with operational requirements.
• Monitor vehicle movements and route adherence using GPS and fleet‑tracking systems.
• Identify and report route deviations, delays, unauthorised stops and other irregularities in real time.
• Support reallocation or rerouting of vehicles due to breakdowns, delays or changes in demand.
• Validate planned routes against actual field conditions and recommend adjustments.
• Oversee installation, replacement and maintenance of GPS tracking devices across the fleet.
