Salesperson – Jewelry Retail

About the role

Ehssan Jewelry is seeking a full‑time Salesperson to work on‑site at one of its Amman branches. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them discover and select gold and other jewelry pieces that suit their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their preferences and guide them through the product selection process.
• Present product features, pricing, and care instructions, supporting confident purchase decisions.
• Handle sales transactions accurately and maintain up‑to‑date sales records.
• Organise and replenish display cases, ensuring the showroom remains clean and visually appealing.
• Follow shop policies, assist with regular inventory checks, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver consistent service.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building long‑term client relationships.
• Sales and negotiation skills, capable of identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products.
• Attention to detail and basic numeracy for accurate transaction handling and inventory work.
• Clear verbal communication in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and the ability to stand and move around the showroom for extended periods.
• Previous retail or jewelry sales experience preferred, especially familiarity with gold purity, weights, and jewelry types.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Amman, including weekends, evenings, and peak shopping periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales or customer‑service training is advantageous.
