Senior Accountant

About the role

REACH World is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead its accounting function. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting the finance team in day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and monitor bank transfers and related banking activities.
• Reconcile accounts in collaboration with department managers.
• Produce periodic financial and accounting reports.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and system backups.
• Ensure confidentiality of financial data and adherence to company procedures and regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
