Senior Audit & Assurance – Accounting & Reporting Advisory (ARA)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance – Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) practice in Jordan. You will work closely with engagement teams to address complex accounting, reporting and operational challenges for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, timely client service and deliver high‑quality work.
• Conduct in‑depth research on complex IFRS matters and develop robust solutions.
• Advise on abnormal transactions, acquisitions and other intricate accounting issues in line with IFRS.
• Review financial statements, accounting policies and perform IFRS impact assessments.
• Coordinate with engagement managers to execute account strategies and project plans.
• Engage in client discussions to anticipate needs based on industry trends.
• Support clients with internal‑controls design, implementation, testing and remediation.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with client staff and Deloitte colleagues.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ability to apply it to complex transactions.
• Proven research and critical‑thinking skills.
• Experience delivering accounting advisory projects at a senior level.
