Senior Audit & Assurance – External Audit (Jordan)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance team in Jordan. The role focuses on external audit engagements, supporting clients across various industries while upholding Deloitte’s high standards of quality and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service expectations and individual priorities.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying knowledge of regulation, risk management, and business processes.
• Prepare and adapt referral instructions, clearly outlining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, procedures, and findings into the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with clients and understand their business needs.
• Strong awareness of regulatory impact on audit processes and risk management.
• Experience in coordinating with multiple audit teams and managing deliverables.
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing audit timing and planning challenges.
