Senior Consultant/Manager – Cyber Defense & Technology Resilience

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant/Manager to help clients design, assess and implement technology resilience solutions that ensure business continuity during disruptions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and assess a client’s Minimum Viable Company (MVC) and core operational dependencies.
• Lead Technology Impact Analyses (TIA) to map business services, applications, infrastructure and third‑party providers.
• Evaluate data‑centers, cloud environments and network architecture for resilience and recoverability.
• Design modern resilience solutions such as immutable backups, data vaulting, tiered recovery and chaos engineering.
• Conduct resilience risk assessments and benchmark against standards like ISO 22301, DORA, NIST and NIS2.
• Translate resilience requirements into Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and testing protocols.
• Develop and execute resilience roadmaps, quick‑win initiatives and long‑term transformation plans.
• Facilitate scenario‑based simulations, tabletop exercises and technical chaos experiments.
• Collaborate with cyber, cloud, infrastructure and risk teams to embed resilience from the start of transformation programs.
• Support clients in meeting regulatory expectations for critical sectors such as financial services and energy.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in technology resilience, IT continuity, backup strategies and failover design.
• Hands‑on experience conducting Technology Impact Analyses or similar dependency assessments.
• Proven track record running Disaster Recovery drills and developing runbooks.
• Ability to evaluate hybrid/cloud infrastructures and translate technical risks into business impact.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for technology resilience in finance, energy or government.
