Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Equiti is expanding its data analytics capability and is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Amman office. You will translate business questions into trusted, actionable insights, working with large, complex datasets and modern reporting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into technical deliverables using advanced analytical methods.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and produce performance indicators on certified data models.
• Manipulate, validate and analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns and insights.
• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and visualisations for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Build and refine Power BI data models in line with the Group’s gold‑model and governance standards.
• Work closely with Data Engineering and the BI hub to ensure data availability, quality and timeliness.
• Support migration of legacy reporting to automated, governed outputs.
• Apply AI‑assisted techniques such as LLM‑driven SQL, DAX and Python development, automated data‑quality checks and AI‑supported insight drafting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance through accurate and reliable reporting.
• Coach and support junior team members.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Power BI (reporting, visualisation, data modelling).
• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• DAX for advanced calculations in Power BI.
• Python for data analysis and AI‑assisted workflows.
