Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a client engagement focused on modernising a multi‑surface healthcare platform. You will work remotely from Jordan, collaborating with backend engineers and designers to deliver a high‑quality customer‑facing application and internal admin tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user‑facing features using React.
• Lead the migration of an existing plain‑JavaScript React codebase to TypeScript.
• Rebuild and refactor UI components as part of the platform’s modernization effort.
• Work closely with backend teams and designers to define interface and API contracts.
• Contribute to frontend testing, code quality standards, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript.
• Proven experience with TypeScript, preferably including JavaScript‑to‑TypeScript migrations.
• Solid understanding of component architecture, state management, and API integration.
• Attention to clean, usable, and well‑built interfaces.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
