Senior Human Resources Associate (Gaza Response)

About the role
The Senior Human Resources Associate will support HR functions for the Gaza Response in Amman, Jordan, under the supervision of the Head of RM and Senior HR Officer.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment processes: draft job descriptions, post vacancies, screen applications, conduct interviews and reference checks.
- Coordinate pre‑employment activities including entry‑on‑duty documentation, medical exams and enrollment in staff benefits.
- Administer employee benefits, entitlements and contract administration at the local level.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field with at least four years of relevant experience (or high school diploma with six years of experience).
- Experience with employee benefits, end‑to‑end recruitment and contract administration.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) and familiarity with IOM operational policies.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP HR software such as Oracle or SAP.
