Senior Information Management Officer – Amman (OPt)

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Information Management Officer to lead data aggregation and mapping activities for humanitarian response in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt). Based in Amman, the role supports evidence‑driven planning across Gaza by coordinating with partners such as ACTED, UNDP and UN‑Habitat.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and integrate service and infrastructure data from local, national and international actors.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive maps of humanitarian programming across the Gaza Strip.
• Coordinate with UN agencies and NGOs to ensure data consistency and relevance.
• Support multi‑sectoral household assessments, displacement site mapping and market assessments.
• Provide analytical insights to inform coordination, operational planning and strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information management, data analysis or GIS within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Proven ability to work independently and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a solutions‑oriented approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
