Senior Tax Services Specialist

About the role

The Senior Tax Services Specialist will lead the tax function for Azadea's Business Services across all operating countries. You will ensure compliance with local tax laws, support business teams on tax matters, and manage interactions with tax authorities and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure group compliance with tax laws and regulations in every operating country.
• Coordinate timely filing and payment of tax returns across the group.
• Provide tax advice on legal restructuring, contract reviews, project tax exposure, and transaction treatment.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks in all jurisdictions where the group operates.
• Work with finance, business services, and external tax consultants to manage group tax audits.
• Assist in reviewing transfer pricing documentation, Country‑by‑Country Reporting, and economic substance filings.
• Conduct tax training sessions for various departments.
• Support ad‑hoc tax queries from internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting and tax compliance.
• Experience in a Big 4 audit firm or large corporate tax department is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
