Service Desk Administrator – ADPE

About the role

The ADPE Service Desk Administrator provides front‑line technical support for V2X’s global operations. Acting as the first point of contact, you will resolve hardware, software and network issues for end‑users and ensure smooth hand‑off of unresolved tickets to specialised IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver immediate in‑person and telephone support to customers at the Service Desk.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Army Gold/Universal Gold Master environments.
• Configure and repair PCs, join them to local domains, and set up network printers.
• Create and manage user accounts and mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Use Remedy (or similar) to log, track and assign tickets, and monitor Tier 1/2 server performance.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT groups and report outages to the NOC.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions and manage detailed task workflows.
• Legal eligibility to work in Jordan, including visa and driver’s‑license requirements.

• Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Network connectivity troubleshooting at the desktop level.
