Solutions Designer

About the role

The Solutions Designer translates business and functional requirements into detailed, implementation‑ready technical designs. Working closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, DevOps and Solution Architects, the role ensures that solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with enterprise architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and create comprehensive technical solution designs.
• Design application modules, workflows, integrations, APIs and database structures.
• Produce implementation‑ready specifications, flowcharts, sequence diagrams and system design documents.
• Validate that designs comply with approved architecture standards and business objectives.
• Participate in technical feasibility studies and align designs with enterprise architecture direction.
• Address non‑functional requirements such as security, scalability, performance, availability and maintainability.
• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks and dependency impacts early in the design phase.
• Generate clear, versioned technical documentation and keep it up‑to‑date throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support development teams with technical clarifications and assist QA in aligning test scenarios with designed behavior.
