Tax Associate – Amman

About the role

KitchenPark is seeking an experienced Tax Associate to join its Middle East finance team in Amman, Jordan. The role is full‑time and focuses on ensuring accurate and timely execution of indirect tax processes across the GCC while maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in calculating tax liabilities, preparing tax forms and filing reports for GCC entities.
• Record tax‑specific transactions, maintain tax journals, capital expenditure details and depreciation schedules.
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, legal teams and regulatory agencies on tax matters.
• Support legal entity maintenance from a tax perspective and collaborate with the legal department.
• Contribute to Middle‑East tax projects for headquarters, gathering quarterly and annual data.
• Prepare and submit indirect tax returns and interact with third‑party providers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in direct (corporate income) and indirect (VAT) tax within local jurisdictions.
• At least 1 year experience in transfer pricing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• In‑house tax experience is essential; consultancy experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of VAT and corporate income tax regulations in the GCC.
• Experience with tax calculations, filing, and record‑keeping.
• Familiarity with coordinating tax matters with external auditors, lawyers and regulatory bodies.
