Trainee, R&D Reporting

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Trainee for R&D Reporting to support planning, monitoring, and reporting of R&D activities across its MENA product development portfolio. This role offers hands‑on experience in project tracking, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, compile and consolidate project timelines, milestones, budgets, forecasts and KPI data into standardized portfolio‑level trackers and reports.
• Maintain and update portfolio dashboards and performance reports, flagging missing or incomplete data for follow‑up.
• Coordinate with Finance, R&D, PMO and Pipeline teams to gather financial data and support budget vs. actual analysis.
• Prepare dashboards, reports and PowerPoint presentations for R&D leadership meetings and manage meeting logistics, minutes and action items.
• Support ad‑hoc data requests and analyses for R&D leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
• Strong academic record with interest in data analytics and R&D operations.
• 1–2 years of experience or internship/project work in project coordination, data analysis or reporting.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and handle confidential data.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with dashboard/BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
