Account Director (Social Media)

About the role

We are expanding our presence in the United Arab Emirates and are looking for an experienced Account Director (Social Media) to join our Dubai office. The role is fully on‑site and requires relocation. You will be responsible for leading social media strategy for government and semi‑government clients, ensuring impactful digital communication across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic social media campaigns for government and semi‑government accounts.
• Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists and coordinate with cross‑functional departments.
• Manage client relationships, act as primary point of contact, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Oversee digital communication initiatives, monitoring performance and optimizing content.
• Collaborate with agency partners to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing government and semi‑government accounts.
• Strong background in social media strategy and digital communications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams.
• Excellent client servicing and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Agency experience is highly preferred.
