Assistant Manager / Senior Consultant – Finance Business Consulting

About the role

As an Assistant Manager / Senior Consultant in the Finance practice, you will partner with managers and senior managers to deliver finance transformation services to leading organisations across the MENA region. You will help clients shift finance from transactional processing to strategic decision‑support, leveraging modern analytics and digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of financial analysis and reporting methodologies.
• Perform in‑depth financial analysis to aid senior client decision‑making.
• Assist clients with public financial management, including budget preparation, execution, revenue assurance and cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather insights for financial recommendations.
• Guide clients through annual budgeting processes and ongoing budget analysis.
• Drive process optimisation across Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash and Record‑to‑Report cycles.
• Assess and integrate AI and advanced analytics solutions into finance transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to Digital Finance and ERP implementation projects, particularly SAP or Oracle, including BRD creation and process design.
• Design and deliver dashboards using Power BI or Tableau and prepare high‑quality PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Travel regularly across the MENA region to support client engagements.

Required profile

• Approximately 3–4 years of recent experience in finance transformation or financial planning within a consulting or accounting firm.
• Hands‑on experience with major finance transformation projects.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
