BIM Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Advan Studios is seeking a BIM Mechanical Engineer to join its Amman office on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role focuses on the design, modelling and coordination of mechanical systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver detailed mechanical designs that meet project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage detailed CAD and Revit models for mechanical systems.
• Produce shop drawings and construction documents for HVAC, piping and other mechanical components.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers and other disciplines to ensure model coordination.
• Support project phases from concept through construction, tracking deadlines and deliverables.
• Participate in research and development activities aimed at improving engineering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering design and shop drawing production.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit software.
• Experience with BIM tools and CAD drawing production.
• Project management experience, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
