Combustible Category Manager – Levant

About the role

Philip Morris Lebanon is seeking an experienced Combustible Category Manager to lead the combustible portfolio across the Levant region. Based in Beirut, you will join the Marketing team and report to the Head of Combustible Category Director for Egypt & Levant.

Key responsibilities

• Drive market‑level business performance and share of market for combustible brands in Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine.
• Develop and execute brand marketing plans, portfolio strategy and promotional budgets in collaboration with commercial stakeholders.
• Ensure competitive superiority of the portfolio, optimise format/segment mix and manage product morphing or delisting.
• Lead brand equity building and create compelling marketing propositions for local consumer segments.
• Coordinate route‑to‑market optimisation and multi‑category deployment through indirect retail channels.
• Implement commercial plans within local legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Innovate selectively in fast‑growing segments following a ‘fewer, bigger, better’ approach.
• Manage end‑to‑end digital CRM experience and support conversion to smoke‑free alternatives.
• Collaborate with market intelligence teams to identify growth opportunities and analyse brand performance.
• Coach and manage the team to achieve KPIs and category success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar category management or marketing role.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong team player with proven project‑management capabilities.
• Agile working mindset and strategic‑creative leadership.

• Digital CRM experience.
