Contract Specialist – Operational Contract Support

About the role

The Contract Specialist (USN) will provide operational contract support for the ASG‑J Directorate of Logistics, handling acquisition packages, market research, and Cross‑Servicing Agreements (ACSA) in an Army environment. This position ensures continuity of contract documentation and supports emerging requirements for the Jordan mission.

Key responsibilities

• Support completion, coordination, and routing of current and emerging ASG‑J requirements.
• Develop acquisition and contract requirement packages and conduct market research.
• Maintain and organize PCF cabinet documentation for continuity.
• Provide OCS expertise to DOL OCS personnel and requiring activities.
• Execute, manage, track, and reconcile Acquisition and Cross‑Servicing Agreements.
• Assist with preparation and review of Performance Work Statements, Statements of Work, and other acquisition documents.
• Track contracting requirements throughout the acquisition lifecycle and maintain status visibility for government stakeholders.
• Review packages for completeness and resolve documentation gaps before routing.
• Coordinate with government OCS, contracting, logistics, legal, and other stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, acquisition, logistics, contracting, supply chain, or a related discipline (relevant military or government experience may substitute).
• Demonstrated experience in contract administration, acquisition support, or operational logistics within a defense or government setting.
• Ability to work under contingency conditions and maintain documentation continuity during personnel transitions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of DoD, Army, and theater contracting policies and procedures.
• Experience with acquisition package development and market research.
• Familiarity with Cross‑Servicing Agreements (ACSA) execution and management.
