Customer Management Professional

About the role

Vestas is seeking a Customer Management Professional to develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, ensure service contract renewals, and drive new business opportunities within the wind energy sector. The role works closely with service operations, commercial, and technical support teams across multiple African locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to secure service contract renewals.
• Define and execute a common customer relationship strategy together with the service operations team.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including value‑added services and recapturing lost accounts.
• Prepare Time & Material quotations and support backlog growth.
• Assist the commercial department in negotiating new service contracts, amendments, and quotations.
• Answer contractual questions from customers, sales, and operations.
• Coordinate technical case resolution with the Technical Support Department.
• Control project bonuses and penalties, and prepare monthly wind‑farm customer reports.
• Ensure timely invoicing and follow‑up for invoice settlement.

Required profile

• Engineering or Business degree.
• Experience in contract management.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong teamwork, accountability, and self‑management.
• Leadership, problem‑solving, and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Customer‑ and business‑oriented mindset.
• Sales and negotiation capabilities.
• Diligence and willingness to learn.
