Cybersecurity Consultant – Advisory Services

About the role

The Cybersecurity Consultant will join ZainTECH's Cybersecurity Advisory Services practice to help enterprise, government and critical‑infrastructure clients across the MENA region improve their security posture. You will assess current capabilities, identify gaps, and design road‑maps that align with industry standards, regulatory requirements and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end cybersecurity consulting engagements for a variety of industries.
• Conduct maturity, gap and risk assessments using ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls and regional regulations.
• Develop and present actionable remediation road‑maps and security transformation plans.
• Advise on governance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures.
• Review existing security architecture and recommend improvements in IAM, network, endpoint, cloud, data protection and monitoring.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements and ensure alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering cybersecurity advisory, governance, risk and compliance services.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments and industry best practices.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to senior stakeholders.
