DevOps Architect / Manager – Senior Consultant – Cloud & DevOps Engineer

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a senior DevOps Architect who will also act as a manager and senior consultant. In this position you will design, implement and govern DevOps strategies that enable continuous integration, continuous delivery and infrastructure automation for clients across cloud and on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead DevOps strategies, frameworks and best practices aligned with business and technology goals.
• Architect scalable, automated CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Establish standards for configuration management, release automation, monitoring and security.
• Evaluate, recommend and integrate DevOps tools and technologies.
• Oversee design, build and deployment of automated pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment workflows.
• Lead monitoring of system health, performance and security post‑deployment.
• Manage risk, compliance and governance related to DevOps practices.
• Mentor DevOps engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
• Plan projects, allocate resources and track delivery milestones for DevOps initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on DevOps transformation and cloud‑native adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale DevOps initiatives and transformation programs.
• Strong consulting and client‑facing skills, able to act as a trusted advisor.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
