About the role
As the Director of Human Resources at IHG, you will shape the employee experience across the hotel, from onboarding through development to exit, ensuring a supportive and high‑performing workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Build and sustain a positive work environment for all colleagues throughout their career journey.
- Lead, educate and train the wider team and General Manager on HR matters and people‑management best practices.
- Design creative initiatives that inspire and motivate staff to deliver unique guest experiences.
- Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, including reporting, filing and process improvement.
- Analyse the local labour market to keep the hotel’s compensation and benefits offering competitive.
- Enhance the hotel’s reputation in the community and promote employee involvement in local activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent.
- At least four years of HR experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Professional HR designation preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all HR matters.
- Fluency in the local language(s); additional languages are advantageous.
