Food & Beverage Service Team Member

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at the Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea and deliver memorable dining experiences to guests in a stunning lakeside setting. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to uphold IHG service standards and ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide personalized service throughout their dining experience.
• Present menus, explain items, promotions, and beverage selections, and offer recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
• Set, clean, and maintain tables according to hotel standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to requests, and handle special requirements.
• Process guest bills accurately and manage cashless or cash transactions.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for efficient service.
• Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in all service areas.
• Support hotel events, banquets, and special functions as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a passion for hospitality.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while paying attention to detail.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to learn and grow.
