Full Stack Developer

About the role

MedNet Jordan is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications for its managed‑care services. The role operates on a hybrid working model, combining on‑site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Laravel and PHP 8+.
• Build and optimise RESTful APIs for web and mobile platforms.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain front‑end components, preferably with Angular.
• Architect scalable, secure backend solutions aligned with enterprise requirements.
• Design efficient database schemas, optimise SQL queries, and ensure MySQL performance.
• Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, Laravel Passport/Sanctum).
• Support integration with third‑party systems, internal services, and enterprise platforms.
• Utilise caches, queues, and advanced Laravel features to improve performance and reliability.
• Refactor, modernise, and optimise legacy systems as needed.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce clean‑coding and enterprise standards.
• Produce technical documentation and clear system design specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of proven full‑stack development experience with a strong emphasis on PHP and Laravel.
• Experience building high‑traffic, enterprise‑level applications.
• Strong understanding of integration concepts, XML/JSON handling, and system communication patterns.
• Experience in insurance or financial systems is a plus.
